What is MECC?
Making Every Contact Count enables organisations and individuals to alter how they interact with people through learning how to recognise opportunities to talk to people about their wellbeing. It's about 'what matters to Sarah' instead of 'what is the matter with Sarah'.
There are different levels of training available, including an eLearning package
Healthy Conversation Skills Training
Our training consists of two 3-hour training sessions in which you will discover:
- How you can support someone to explore their own health and wellbeing
- How using more effective responses can help people find their own solutions
- How you can support someone to think about their own behaviour change plan
The training is based around the principles of Making Every Contact Count, or MECC.
