FAQS

How long does the training take?

The current virtual training offer is split into 2 options:

1. The eLearning can be completed in about 45 minutes and can be completed at your own pace.

2. The eMECC Lite training is led by 2 facilitators and takes about 3 hours. It is an interactive course providing learners with the opportunity to share their experience and learn from others.

Is the training free?

The eLearning is free to access and can be repeated as many times as you like. We recommend once you have completed the eLearning to familiarise yourself with the additional learning and resources to further your learning. The eLearning offers a base level of knowledge which the face to face training to builds upon. If after completing the eLearning you are interested in yourself or colleagues attending the face to face training please enquire through the website to discuss your options as some of the face to face training is being delivered virtually.

The eLearning does not work through Internet Explorer, how do I download Chrome or Edge?

Our eLearning is not supported through Internet Explorer but functions well through a variety of different browsers. We recommend using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome for the best results. You can download either browser for free from the links below:

If you continue to experience issues with the eLearning please email mecc@leics.gov.uk
